Anger Management Technique

Dealing with anger is never easy, since people always have to face problems and reasons for conflict but our anger management technique is crucial. We have to deal with price increases, arguments, war, violence, crime, everyday common stupidity and continuous interruptions. There is not one person in this sometimes difficult world that has not gotten angry at some point.

Anger is an emotion that we all have to cope with. But anger comes in many forms: the root of anger is hatred, anxiety or frustration as a result of previous deception or disappointment, comes from bad anger management technique. This is true. However, true or not, even in the Bible it says that when Adam and Eve were created on Earth, the first problem was when the Devil, in the form of a snake, lied, deceiving Eve. Once that lie became known, the world started suffering many problems, including violence, murder, war, shortages, disease, weather disasters etc.

Ever since that first famous lie, the world has become more and more unpredictable and continues to worsen as the years roll by. We can examine how a lie can provoke anger by looking at an individual case – a person engaged in criminal activities, such as stealing, writing bad checks, and selling prescription medications. Now this person had to deceive, since she felt that her behaviour and actions were her only possible means of getting through life.

So, she started lying to cover up her crimes. As time went by, she became angry and could not cope, solely as a result of her under-developed anger management technique, the way she was behaving, her way of thinking, etc. She began to act as anyone else suffering from uncontrolled anger would act.

This included, demeaning others, insulting others, verbally and physically assaulting, threatening, belittling and mocking others. The woman was diagnosed with mental disorders, Post traumatic Stress Disorder and Bipolar. She also had health issues, including diabetes. Now, if we take a look at all the aspects of that person’s frustration and anger management technique, we see, if we search look enough that her lying, which had caused the paranoia, was the root cause of all her behavioral problems.

A lot of people have a problem with their anger management technique. Many of the people with post-traumatic stress disorder behave angrily because they are reacting to a flashback in memory. That is right! People with post traumatic stress disorder often suppress their emotions and when they are violent or angered, it is often the result of fighting the sources that caused their trauma and not the person in their immediate presence.

But the problem is that, we do not see this as the cause for the woman’s anger, since she did not make the problem public knowledge. Therefore, people would exclude post traumatic stress disorder as the cause, or at least reduce the possibility of it. So, now let’s take a look at diabetes, since this illness has an affect on the nerves. The shortage of insulin creates other problems too, but many people with diabetes will become upset for little or no reason whatsoever.

However, most people do not act angrily, assault, insult or attack others . If we examine the reason crimes are committed, we see that very often, serious behavioural problems come from lying. Therefore, when we look at this woman’s case again, we can see that we have to deal with the underlying problems ie to stop her from lying and get her to move forward, avoiding bouts of frustration, anxiety and anger by employing an anger management technique.

Now, the person is in denial, which means that until the legal system makes her take steps in anger management technique, then she probably will not get help herself. In addition, even if the criminal justice system does force her to get help, it probably will not work, since her denial has existed for probably many years. Now we are dealing with a real anger problem, since her behaviour is life long, which means extensive therapy is needed.

Anger is a normal emotion, but when it interferes with someone else’s life, it becomes a serious problem. This person is not hurting only one person, she is hurting society as a whole, because when she steals or writes bad cheques, society picks up the tab through higher taxes, as well as other levies. One of the worst problems that I have noticed with this type of person, is that the system and society allows it to continue; only attempting to deal with it when the person is in custody. Once the person is released, then it starts again. This is a chain of events involving lack of control due to anger mis-management and bad anger management technique.

Should You Be Getting Anxious over Anxiety Depression?

A lot of people that over extend themselves, exhaust not only all their physical strength, but they also tend to over extend their mental powers to the point where they obviously need some old fashioned time out.

Many busy people who are unable to understand the idea of relaxing and taking time of from work, as well as from their worries, have nervous breakdowns, anxiety depression and all sorts of mental illnesses that cause a person’s sanity to go haywire. Fortunately, if you are one of those people who is unable to relax and who is always worried and fussing over things, there are several cures and remedies available for dealing with anxiety depression.

Anxiety depression is actually characterized by all sorts of strange behaviour and erratic mood swings in the person suffering from it. This is usually because of specific stress triggers. Furthermore, a lot of people who tend to become easily anxious in stressful situations are in fact prone to having anxiety depression. It is actually a matter of being strong-willed when it comes to facing problematic and stressfull activities. It may be pretty hard to do at first, but trying to be calm and cool in times of extreme pressure is what will save your mental health from going into a downward spiral.

When it comes to effectively curing oneself of a mental illness, one must keep in mind that one has to be honest with oneself and assess what kind of depression or mental illness one actually has. Go to a reputable psychiatrist to get yourself diagnosed correctly as well to get the right depression treatment. Here are the various types of depression:

Manic or Bipolar depression – is characterized by sudden and extreme mood swings where one minute the sufferer is in an high state of euphoria while the next minute (day or week) the sufferer is in a private hell.

Postpartum depression – characterized by prolonged sadness and a feeling of emptiness in a new mother where physical stress during child birth and / or an uncertain sense of responsibility towards the new born baby are some of the possible factors why some new mothers go through this.

Dysthimia – characterized by a slight similarity with bipolar depression, although in this case, it has been proven to be a lot less severe. However, any case of depression should be treated immediately.

Cyclothemia – is characterized by a similarity with Manic or Bipolar depression wherein the individual suffering from this mental illness can sometimes suffer from severe changes in moods.

Seasonal Affective Disorder – is recognizable by falling into a rut only during specific seasons (i.e. Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumn). However, studies show that more people become depressed during the Winter and Autumn seasons. And finally, mood swings, where a person’s mood may shift from happy to sad to angry in a relatively short period of time.

However, the sort of depression that has been shown to be most prevalent, is anxiety depression, which is actually recognizable by someone being overly anxious about some things. Anxiety is a natural behaviour that actually will help someone cope more with certain stressful activities like a first date or a gruelling exam the following day. Anxiety helps you get ready for dealing with certain “difficult situations”. Therefore, anxiety is actually quite a good, natural emotion.

Anxiety depression however, is just the opposite, but it should not be dismissed as a “case of the nerves”. Anxiety depression is in actuality an illness that can be caused from the biological make-up of an individual, or in other words, it can be an hereditary illness.

Furthermore, there are actually various kinds of anxiety depression too. Each one has its own unique characteristics. Take for instance Generalized Anxiety Disorder or GAD. This kind of anxiety depression is a lot more complicated than the average anxiety depression, in spite of it possibly being a daily problem for those who suffer from this anxiety depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder actually makes the individual much more paranoid than normal. Anxiety attacks are much more frequent, even absurdly so at times.

Suffers can get anxious even when there is no obvious explanation for them to behave in that way. Those people suffering from Generalized Anxiety Disorder often show a lot of symptoms varying from from lack of sleep, to being unable to relax, getting tired easily, inability to concentrate and suffering from depression. This sort of anxiety depression is still curable however.

Consult a reputable cognitive behavioural therapist who will give you the therapy that you need to help you loosen up. Furthermore, prescribed medicines are a must to help these individuals combat anxiety attacks, help them calm down and help them relax.

Golden Rosaries For Real Luxury

Have you ever seen a golden rosary? They are not things you see every day, but they are very striking and they can be found if you look around. A rosary is a symbol of your faith, a method of doing atonement and even a way of remembering who gave you your faith.

Because of the symbolic character of a rosary, it does not matter at all what it is made from. However, if you like nice things, a golden rosary could be a luxury item for you, even though there is more risk of it being stolen.

You certainly would not want to have it stolen of course, but a valuable rosary is a beautiful object to have, like a golden business card case or an expensive fountain pen. It is not so much that it shows that you can afford one, it is more that it demonstrates that it is an important item to you. Something of significance. If you like writing, you want a good pen, if you want to give a good impression, you can have a good business card case and if you love God, you can have a lovely rosary.

However, you do not have to take it to church with you, if you are worried about being flash. You could only use it at home, if that made you feel easier. After all, you are not buying a golden rosary to show off to the world’s population, just to show your dedication to yourself. The weight of a golden rosary seems to add solemnity to the proceedings, but that might be a personal thing.

However, you do not necessarily have to buy a gold rosary for yourself. You might buy one for a child or godchild in order to demonstrate how much you want that they will discover or uphold the faith.

You will have to go to a professional trader who knows about gold rosaries. This is because if the beads are too heavy for the chain, the chain might not last long. The constant moving of the beads could either wear the gold chain thin too swiftly or just break it.

That would be a crying shame, because you might lose one or more of your beads too and the beads on a gold rosary would necessarily be quite expensive too. Replacing one or more beads might be tricky or even impossible years down the line.

A gold rosary would probably become a family heirloom and be passed down for generations even hundreds of years. It would be a great incentive for a young person to contemplate the important things in life.

Your church could give you pointers about where to purchase a gold rosary from someone that actually knows what the proportions of the beads to the chain should be. They will also offer you different purities of gold, usually 9, 14 or 18 carat gold and the beads could be anything from glass to pearls.

If you do go in for a gold rosary, get the retailer to attest to the materials used in its manufacture and the various weights so that if you have a problem, you have proof to show the insurance company.

What is Clinical Depression?

Depression is a mental illness that is usually characterized by protracted periods of sadness and melancholy, say the experts from the medical field of psychiatry.

But just because a person is moping around and generally hating the world around him or her, doesn’t mean that he/she is suffering from depression, but if this kind of behavior, the feeling of emptiness, loss of self-worth and absolutely no hope for happiness just goes on and on, then, that individual is probably, indeed, depressed. Still, there are various types of depression too.

Manic or Bipolar depression is characterized by sudden and extreme mood swings – one minute the person is euphoric while the next minute (day or week), he or she feels as if he or she is hell.

Postpartum depression is characterized by a prolonged sadness and a lengthy feeling of emptiness by a new mother where physical stress during child birth, an uncertain sense of responsibility towards the new born child are just some of the possible reasons why some new mothers suffer from this.

Dysthimia is characterized by a slight similarity with depression, although this kind has been proven to be a lot less severe, however. as with any case of depression, it should be sorted out immediately.

Cyclothemia – characterized by a slight similarity with Manic or Bipolar depression wherein the individual suffering from this mental illness suffers from severe changes in mood.

Seasonal Affective Disorder is characterized by being depressed only during specific seasons (i.e. Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumn). However, studies prove that more people actually fall ill during the Winter and Fall seasons. Or they could suffer from severe mood swings, wherein a person’s mood may shift from happy to sad to angry in quite a short period of time.

‘Clinical depression’ or as some call it, ‘major depression’, is the correct medical term for depression. Actually, clinical depression is more a disorder than an illness, because it refers only to those who are suffering from the symptoms that cause depression.

However, despite it being a real disorder, clinical depression can be treated very successfully. Doctors are usually very optimistic that patients suffering from clinical depression will soon be well on their way to regaining good mental health as long as they are treated as soon as they have been diagnosed. Patients who have sought treatment for clinical depression have proven to be quite successful in their hopes, given that 80 percent of those treated have found relief from their disorder.

If you are seeking answers to questions related to clinical depression, the depression section of the health centre is highly recommended, as well as books on psychiatry and the Internet, which offers a lot of useful information, although self medication is highly disapproved of. Clinical depression may not pose as great of a threat as the other types of mental illness, but it is best to leave it in the hands of the professionals who can safely attend to and cure this disorder.

Anger Management Resources

It is because anger management is a huge problem in society today, there have been many programs developed, books written, Internet websites created and anger management movies filmed. Although all of this help is in place and available for anyone, not all people with anger issues benefit from the same type of resource. For some people attending an anger management program may be effective and cause major changes in their behaviour.

Being able to steal away alone with a book may be helpful to a person with anger issues. Seeing their problems in print and being able to sort through them in their mind might be a great anger management resource. The Internet is a great resource regarding anger management and some may find it helpful to view the different sites and read stories about individuals with anger management issues. However for many people who have difficulties controlling their anger, watching an anger management movie might be what it takes to break them out of their pattern of angry, emotional outbursts.

Watching an anger management film would allow the individual the chance to actually see, with their own eyes and hear with their own ears, just what anger does to a person and those around them. An anger management movie would likely provide illustrations and situations where individuals act on their anger. The movie may apply exactly to an individual’s current circumstance. It may hit home – so to speak. Watching the actors play out their life story and their behaviour may be an eye-opener. It may take watching a husband abuse a child or wife, a mother attacking her kid, a child bullying another child, to realize that anger is a significant problem.

When an angry person is in that situation, they are likely to blame it on whoever gets in the way. But being in the picture they are incapable of watching their own personal performance. However, if they given the chance to see it on the big screen, they might be surprised and even devastated by their actions. Watching an anger management movie would probably be like watching yourself in a similar situation. This may be the tool that works best for some people.

An anger management picture will not only give illustrations of actual situations involving anger. The film will probably give information regarding anger management methods. Using these methods and the characters in the movie, it is likely that there would be scenes of people being introduced to anger management methods and programs.

The film would explain the steps to dealing with anger and frustration issues. This type of anger management movie might be the answer to many people’s problems. It would seem a good idea if the anger management movie showed the person, in the same situation as the sufferer, change from the first scene in the film to the last scene. Showing how the individual was able to receive help through anger management and turn his life around, could just be the incentive he needed.

Moreover, there are all kinds of anger management film available in the stores. The Internet is also a great source of information regarding anger management and anger management resources like as books and anger management films. If you think you or someone you know would benefit from watching an anger management movie, it would be a good idea to get hold of one.

Anger Management For Kids

Anger, a perfectly normal emotion, can change into something frightening and ugly. The first thought you might have of anger issues may bring about images of a couple fighting, a parent abusing a child, a teenager lashing out at a teacher or a parent. Rarely will images of angry children come to mind. Unfortunately children, at very young ages, have to deal with feelings of anger and rage. This is a truth which is often difficult for adults to understand or deal with.

Children, young children especially, aren’t normally aware of how they feel. When a child becomes upset or mad they simply display these emotions through their behaviour. A good example of this might be a little boy in a supermarket who throws a tantrum because he’s upset. Many parents have had to deal with similar circumstances. It is unfortunate that often these occurrences are overlooked or dismissed because they are “just children”. Anger management in kids is as important, or probably even more important than anger management in adults.

A child requires instruction and guidance from their coming into the world to their entry into adulthood. The things they learn throughout their young lives are likely to form the person they become as an adult. For this reason, anger management in children with difficulties controlling their temper is extremely important. Finding ways to teach anger management for kids might present challenges.

There are programs made specifically for children with frustration, anxiety and anger management issues. Discovering one that works for a particular child might require testing many methods. Not all children will react to the same treatment for anger management for kids. Because a child cannot always relate their feelings surrounding angry outburst, finding the right approach may take some time. Until the issue is resolved or at least controlled, it is vital to continue the search.

Young children may respond well to worksheets, games and fun activities. All of these can be used to teach anger management for kids. Developing programs which incorporate each of these methods might be the best route to take. A child completing a worksheet, colouring sheet or participating in games and activities with underlying messages regarding anger management for kids, may not even realize they are working on their anger-related problems.

Making the activity fun doesn’t mean that the anger issue has to be left out. Choosing fun activities which teach healthy interaction and decision making might be good for anger management for children. Teaching them to take turns and helping them to learn that they can’t always be the best or the winner would definitely make a difference when confrontational situations occur. Small activities which instill values and positive thinking would be helpful for anger management for kids.

If a kid is old enough to talk about their anger problem, encouraging them to share their emotions is important. Suggesting they talk to someone who they feel comfortable with and trust is a good idea regarding anger management in children. Asking them to write or draw about their emotions may help them reveal their underlying problems, whether it be fear, hurt or sadness.

Teaching them to ask for help when they feel threatened or angry would certainly help the child with an anger-related problem. The important detail to realize when considering anger management in children are they are just “children”. Their minds are not equipped to handle adult situations and so they will require a more careful approach.

Anger Management and Domestic Violence.

How does anger management play a role in domestic violence? Simply put, most people that abuse their spouse in this type of situation, are angry due to an antisocial disorder lying deep in their mind. Anger is one of the leading symptoms of personality disorder, which include paranoia, schizophrenia, schizoid, antisocial, psychopathic, histrionic and sociopathic personalities.

Most people who are abusive in relationships have anti-social personalities. The anti-social personality type often attacks when he or she is drunk or under the influence of some other drug. This is not true in all cases of course, but it is true in most circumstances. Anti-social personality types often disregard rules and regulations and usually feel that they are authorized to do so. Anti-social personality types are controlling and if you do not confirm their authority, they often vent their anger in a controlling or violent manner.

Anti-social types will often humiliate, intimidate, brutally physically abuse and mentally belittle their spouse, but domestic abuse doesn’t usually finish there. This type of person has never proven to be a likely candidate for anger management recovery. In other words, men that batter their wives will often continue to do so until someone gets seriously injured. It is not wise to engage with this sort of person, as there is hardly any hope at all of them responding to anger management methods. This type will often beat a spouse, until all they want is to kill them. This means that someone could very likely die, since this sort of person will become angrier and angrier as the years pass and will rarely seek help in order to manage their anger in domestic violence situations.

Even if he or she does get anger management help for domestic violence, it often fails. It is not recommended to start a relationship with this type of person. The signs are an unkempt appearance or wild expressions, laughing for no apparent reason, laughing in a situation where a person was injured, outbursts of anger for no reason et cetera. This type of person is superficial and will often lead you to believe that he or she is a model for society, when behind closed doors the brute appears.

Of course, hatred is the underlying cause of this person’s anger, and hatred has been known to kill. Often deep-seated jealousy also underlies the anger issues within these types of people. Many of these angry people take drugs, like cocaine, crack, marijuana and others. They often exceed the safety limit for alcohol consumption and this only increases the chances of them flying into a rage.

An example of bad anger management and domestic violence can be seen in a small town called Dowagiac in Michigan, a man attempted to kill several women but was still allowed to walk the streets. Little anger management help was provided to this person and often his outrageous attacks were simply because he felt that he could not control his victims. The victims did not get any justice and a few even believed that they could change his angry ways.

Within a short time, he was sitting in the county gaol on a string of charges, including assault of a police officer and hit and run. The police, according to witnesses, claim that the criminal had had a weapon and was drunk when he tried to elude arrest and marijuana was found in his car. This person had a long-standing record of violence but the justice system let those victims down, which led to more anger management problems.

Another example of anger is in borderline personality types. These people, when feeling alone, will lash out at others. Sometimes they are physically abusive, but most of the time they are verbally and mentally abusive. The spouse has only to go to work and when he or she returns home, they will be accused of doing something wrong.

The abusive person might even call the workplace of the spouse numerous times to verify that he or she has not run off with someone else. This is another type of angry person that rarely recovers, and like the antisocial personality types, these types are just as dangerous and manipulative.

Paranoid personality types are equally dangerous and manipulative but their anger is almost impossible to predict, because, in most cases, these types act on voices heard inside or outside their heads. Like the antisocial types, the paranoid type rarely has a justifiable reason for their behaviour. In most cases, it is just an issue of control, which means that if the victim is not easily uncontrollable, the paranoid person will react with anger and violence.

The Link Between anger And Depression

Depression and anxiety are said to be the causes of uncontrollable anger. When a person is continuously worried about problems they have no control over or even problems they do have control over, it often causes depression. If you have the feeling, there is no hope then your depression can affect your life and cause you to sink into a spiral of despair.

Taking control of your emotions produces good results. If you feel that the world is crumbling down then you are almost definitely thinking negatively, which brings on depression and anxiety. In this article, we will discuss some techniques to help you cope with anxiety and depression, thus relieving uncontrollable anger.

Firstly, let us take a look at the symptoms. Do you feel as if you are going out of your mind? Do you scream in your head: ‘I can’t take it any more?’. Do you feel like someone is out to get you? Do you think people view you as a crazy person? If you are undergoing any or all of these symptoms then you are probably suffering from some form of anxiety and depression.

If you can not find a way to think differently, then you will probably explode when your emotions soar and your anger bursts forth. Instead of telling yourself that you are out of your mind, why not tell yourself that you are temporarily emotionally disturbed and that you need to resolve the situation. Review all the problem areas carefully and search your memory to see if there are answers to your problems there. Reviewing like this, often opens doors to resources you may have overlooked.

If you feel like everyone is out to get you then you might have a chemical imbalance or a mental illness. Why not visit your doctor or a mental health expert to learn more about the symptoms and find a way to regain control over your life. Anxiety and depression can play tricks with your mind and sometimes the thoughts are the result of a lack of chemical balance.

If you think that people think you are going crazy, you might care to remember that most people have their own problems and don’t have time to analyze you as a person. When you walk into a room and think that people are staring at you, you might want to remember that all people watch the things around them, checking to make sure that everything is OK around themselves before returning to their own lives.

If you feel that you cannot take it any longer, just bite your lip and buckle down to it. When times are difficult, it doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world, although sometimes it may seem this way. If you are struggling to pay bills, fighting to hold a family together, or having difficulty with your children then remember that we all have problems like these at some time or another in our lives.

Are your children driving you nuts? If they are, take a break. Go do something entertaining or exercise. This often relieves the stress that leads to anxiety, depression and anger.
